Martha's Vineyard Flight School was established in 2023 by local pilot, Zared Shai. He followed his brother Evan's footsteps into the world of flying and hasn't looked back!
flight time, ground school, and time in the redbird simulator...
Fly left seat with one of our certified flight instructors and learn everything you need to know to obtain your PPL. Our Cessna 162 Skycatcher is the perfect airplane to learn in. It's a 2011 model and it's total airtime is less than 250 hours which makes it practically new.
Our skycatcher is equipped with Garmin G300 dual glass avionics. The versatile G300 suite replaces old-style mechanical gyro instruments with an all-in-one digital command center that promises significant advances in reliability, performance and pilot situational awareness.
Our Cessna 150M is equipped with a 150 HP Lycoming engine and is a perfect training machine.
GNS 530W is an all-in-one GPS/Nav/Comm solution. It features a WAAS-certified GPS, 2280-channel capacity comm and 200-channel ILS/VOR with localizer and glideslope. Featuring an advanced 15-channel receiver capable of five position updates per second, GNS 530W meets the FAA's stringent TSO C146a standards for WAAS "sole means" navigation — providing vertical and lateral approach guidance into thousands of U.S. airports previously inaccessible in IFR conditions.
When not in the air, or classroom, fly our beautiful RedBird simulator. We have both steam and glass panel!
The Redbird TD2 represents a generic single-engine piston aircraft. It is available in either glass or steam gauge configurations. With the TD2, you can choose to fly with or without retractable landing gear, constant speed propeller, and/or a high-performance engine.
